Dambulla Ancient Caves: A Unique Experience with Village Ferry and Safari Game Drive Elephants.
Upon picking you up from your accommodation in Negombo at 8:00 AM, we will proceed to Dambulla Cave Temple via a two-and-a-half-hour drive. Your tour duration within Dambulla includes approximately forty-five minutes, during which you may opt for a brief coffee or refreshment break midway through the trip.
Following the completion of this exploration, we will travel for thirty minutes towards Habarana Village. Upon arrival, we will board a cart to traverse across the river by means of a ferry. Subsequently, we shall engage in an interactive culinary experience, where you will join local women in preparing a traditional Sri Lankan rice and curry meal right before your eyes.
Departing Habarana Village, we will utilize a tuk-tuk to access the Safari Park. Depending on the season, this could encompass either the Minneriya, Kaudulla, or Eco Park areas. During our safari adventure, we will undertake a game drive specifically focused on elephants. Post-our excursion, we will return to our vehicle and continue our journey home.
Our return journey will also entail approximately three hours, allowing for a short rest break halfway through the trip.
