Private Mont Saint-Michel, Normandy D-Day Express from Paris

Hotel Pickup and Departure

At 07:30 AM, guests will be picked up from their accommodation in Paris and transported to Mont Saint-Michel via an air-conditioned, comfortable Mercedes-Benz E220 Business-Class vehicle. The journey duration is approximately 3.5 hours (280 kilometers), covering the distance between Paris and Normandy. A brief detour will occur at a service station for refueling purposes. Upon reaching Normandy, there will be one additional stop en route to the American Cemetery in Collville-sur-Mer.

Guided Tour Itinerary

Upon arrival, the group will embark upon a live-guided tour starting at 11:00 AM. This segment includes visiting the Overlord Museum, located near the Normandy American Cemetery, which offers insights into the events of D-Day and showcases numerous historical artifacts such as tanks, weapons, guns, military vehicles, V-1 missiles, and personal belongings of the fallen soldiers.

Following the museum visit, guests will proceed to Normandy American Cemetery, where they will have another opportunity to reflect on the sacrifices made by American soldiers during World War II.

The next leg of the tour involves a visit to the Normandy American Cemetery & Visitor Center. This site features a vast array of memorials including the Wall of the Missing, depicting the names of 1,557 soldiers whose remains remain unaccounted for. Additionally, visitors can explore the cliffs leading down to the beaches, offering insight into the German defenses.

Continuing northward, the group will travel to Omaha Beaches, covering a distance of approximately 5 kilometers within 10 minutes. Following this, they will arrive at the Monument Signal of Omaha Beaches, where they can learn about the immense human cost associated with the landing operation on D-Day.

Next, the group will depart for Mont Saint-Michel, taking around 1 hour and 45 minutes (150 kilometers). On the return journey, a short stopover at a service station will be scheduled before concluding the tour at 18:00 PM in Paris.

Upon arrival in Paris, guests will be driven back to their accommodations. The entire journey concludes with a drop-off at the designated location by 22:00 PM, ensuring guests are safely returned to their hotel.
