We will arrange pickup services for our guests at their designated hotels or bus stations prior to the scheduled departure date. Upon arrival, our team will assist in boarding the vessel destined for the Madre de Dios River. From there, guests will embark upon a journey aboard a traditional wooden boat, traversing the vibrant waterways towards the Tambopata National Reserve. Upon reaching the reserve, guests will have the opportunity to explore the lush surroundings via a guided 30-minute walk through the dense forest, during which they may observe diverse wildlife such as primates and parrots. Following this excursion, guests will proceed to Lake Sandoval, where they will experience a relaxing canoe ride amidst the serene lakeside environment, enjoying reflections off the surrounding vegetation. Guests should note the presence of various animal species within the lake, particularly large lake otters.
Following lunch and a brief rest period, guests will reboard their boat to seek out intriguing aquatic creatures like black alligators. As the sun begins to dip below the horizon, guests will witness an enchanting spectacle of the natural world's beauty. Finally, guests will disembark from the boat at the pier, allowing them to either continue their stay at their accommodations or opt for transportation back to their hotel.
