Salina di Cervia, Walk along the way of the nests

A guided walking tour through the Cervia Salt Pans is available for visitors. This experience includes utilizing binoculars as companions while embarking on a leisurely journey alongside the "Nests Way". The itinerary involves approximately 1 kilometer of walking from start to finish, returning to one's original location.

We embark on an expedition equipped with binoculars, guided by our knowledgeable companion, traversing the "Way of the Nests." As we journey through this picturesque landscape, we meticulously observe the native flora characteristic of the South Gate of the Po Delta Park. Our eyes may occasionally rest upon the vibrant avian inhabitants that inhabit these serene grounds. At strategic intervals, we ascend to the observation tower, where we are captivated by the breathtaking vista of the Salina, a place where water and sky seem indistinguishable, offering the perfect backdrop for photography enthusiasts.

Upon arrival at the Visitor Center, we find ample accommodation options, including dedicated camping spaces. A bustling shopping district awaits us, offering a variety of products sourced from the local delicacy, the sweet salt of Cervia. Additionally, we encounter a quaint pizza stand, inviting visitors to savor their culinary creations. Lastly, we indulge in refreshments at one of the numerous bars located within the vicinity, ensuring a memorable experience complete with food and drink options.
