Night 01: Departure and Arrival

On the first night, travelers will depart their accommodations at Soraypampa at 2:00 PM, embarking on a journey lasting approximately 3.5 hours to reach Soraypampa. Upon arrival, they will stay overnight before commencing the 5-day Salkantay Trek with an ayahuasca ceremony.

Day 01: Soraypampa to Humantay Lagoon

In the morning, upon reaching Soraypampa, guests will wake up to its breathtaking views at an altitude of 3,890 meters. They will then head towards Humantay Lagoon, located at 4,270 meters in elevation. After descending back to Soraypampa, they will continue to Soqro Cocha, situated at 4,880 meters.

Day 02: Soqro Cocha to Qollpa Pampa

Today marks a day filled with remarkable technical and geographical challenges. As they ascend to the Salkantay Pass at an altitude of 4,630 meters, overlooking both the eastern and western horizons, guests will appreciate the stunning vistas along with the satisfaction of being in close proximity to a colossal glacier. Subsequently, they will descend to lower altitudes, experiencing changes in altitude zones, ecological systems, flora, and fauna as they transition into tropical regions, eventually arriving at their next campsite at 2,750 meters above sea level.

Day 03: Qollpa Pampa to Llaqta Pata

Before beginning their hike, guests will enjoy a coffee experience with a local producer renowned for high-quality coffee. This activity is not to be missed as it offers a unique opportunity to explore the region's culinary delights. Proceeding down the original Inka Trail, they will arrive at the archaeological site of LLACTAPATA, located at 2,700 meters above sea level. From here, they can see Machupicchu and its surrounding sacred mountains. Later, they will participate in an ayahuasca ceremony at Machupicchu, witnessing a wonder of the world.

Day 04: Llaqta Pata to Aguas Calientes

This day begins with rising early to witness the spectacular sunrise over Machu Picchu, an event not to be overlooked by any traveler on the Salkantay Trek. Following breakfast, they will start their descent to the Aobamba River, at an elevation of 1,900 meters. There, they will take a cold glacier bath to refresh themselves from the hot climate. Next, they will travel to Hydroelectric, where they will enjoy lunch and board the train bound for Aguas Calientes.

Day 05: Machupicchu to Cusco

The final day of their adventure to Machu Picchu awaits. Guests will embark on a bus ride to the historical sanctuary, setting foot in the Incan era amid the mountainous backdrop and an awe-inspiring mystical panorama.
