El Boquerón es un área natural protegida ubicada en la cima del volcán de San Salvador, a una altitud de 1.800 metros sobre el nivel del mar. Su principal atractivo son los cráteres, uno de ellos con un diámetro de 1.5 kilómetros y una profundidad de 558 metros. El corazón histórico de San Salvador se encuentra en el área donde comenzó el desarrollo urbano de la ciudad capital salvadoreña. Las edificaciones destacadas fueron construidas al final del siglo XIX y principios del XX. Hoy en día, esta zona es un destino turístico lleno de vida diurna y nocturna.

Itinerario:

- Salimos desde nuestro alojamiento a las 10:00 horas.
- Se realizan paradas técnicas para descansos y comidas.
- Llegamos a la Aldea Natural Boquerón Nacional a las 11:00 horas, a una altura de 1.800 metros, durante una visita que dura aproximadamente 15 minutos. En este lugar encontraremos diferentes vistas panorámicas de los cráteres del volcán de San Salvador, incluyendo "el boqueróncito", un pequeño cráter cercano.
- A bordo del transporte oficial a las 12:00 horas.
- Comida en un restaurante local a las 12:30 horas.
