Upon arrival at the accommodation's reception, we will depart promptly for the main harbor in Mindelo. Upon reaching the island of Santo Antão, our experienced guide and driver will greet you at the designated entrance gate of the harbor. Following a brief orientation, we will proceed through an extraordinary stretch of roadway that traverses picturesque rural villages and natural parks, as well as winding paths. You will then have ample opportunity to relax during lunch.
Following lunch, we will visit Ribeira Grande and Paul, both of which offer unique experiences. Afterward, we will continue driving along a newly constructed route to reach Porto Novo. Upon arrival at Ribeira Grande, we will explore its charming streets and historical landmarks. In Paul, you will have the chance to experience the local culture firsthand. As part of this tour, you may also opt to take a scenic boat ride back to Mindelo if desired.
Should you prefer the trekking option, expect approximately two to three hours of activity, including a total ascent and descent of 400 meters.
