Day 1:
Depart in the afternoon around 12:30 PM, heading towards the village of Toya Bungkah on Mt. Batur. Following a moderate trail of approximately two hours, based on participants' fitness levels, proceed to the summit area. Upon reaching an altitude of 1,500 meters above sea level, set up your tent. By approximately 6 PM, begin the ascent to the summit of Mt. Batur, where you'll witness a breathtaking sunset over the volcano's imposing silhouette. Indulge in a simple meal prepared using the unique steam of the volcano—typically consisting of bananas cooked in its heat—and savor hot Balinese coffee and tea. Return to camp to prepare a communal meal and build a campfire for roasting local specialties such as Arak Bali and Brem wines. As night descends, toast to the clear skies, hoping for a sight of the moon and twinkling stars. Witness the sunrise from the mountain's vantage point, marveling at the vibrant palette of colors transforming the sky into shades of purple, orange, pink, and red. Take in panoramic views of the distant ocean as the day unfolds. On a clear day, you might even spot Mt. Rinjani on the neighboring island of Lombok.

Day 2:
Rise early to witness the stunning sunrise from the summit. Before dawn, pack away all your camping gear and assist the porters with transportation back down to lower elevations. Watch the sky change from pitch-black to hues of blue as the warm rays of sunlight penetrate through the layers of clouds, causing them to disperse and reform due to temperature variations. Admire sweeping vistas of the ocean beyond and gaze upon Mt. Rinjani on the nearby island of Lombok. Proceed to explore the three primary crater areas of the volcano, observing recent black lava flows. Conclude your exploration at the natural hot springs of Batur, where you can unwind and rejuvenate amidst nature’s soothing embrace.
