The Tanzanite gemstone is unique to Tanzania and can only be found in the Arusha region. Guests will learn about the qualities of the gem as well as it’s importance to the mining industry.
Guests will be picked up at their specified location and then driven to the Cultural Heritage Centre where they can learn about Tanzanite (and other cultural attractions). Certificates are issued on purchase so that buyers may take their gems out of the country legally.
The tour can take from 1-2 hours depending on how in-depth guests choose to go.
