On the full day excursion The Best of Geiranger you will experience a fantastic bus tour through a landscape of majestic mountains, gorgeous waterfalls and beautiful lakes.
Geiranger
One of our experienced guides will give you all the information about Geiranger and the UNESCO World Heritage area. On our way to Geiranger, we will pass the beautiful lake of Oppstryn and take a short break at Jostedalsbreen Nasjonalparksenter, where you can learn more about glaciers. On our way to Geiranger we will also make a short photo stop at the Øvstefossen Waterfall.
You’ll reach four highlights: Flydalsjuvet (one of Norway’s most photographed viewpoints); the spectacular Djupvatn lake, the top of the famous mountain Dalsnibba at the altitude of 1500 m above sea level, and the spectacular Eagle Bend with great views of the Geiranger village, the Geirangerfjord and the Seven Sisters Waterfall. The tour includes the drive up the serpentine Eagle Road with great photo opportunities of the Geirangerfjord. Finally, we will start the return back to Hellesylt where your cruise ship will be waiting.
