Upon pickup from Hvar, this small-group tour commences at the French Fortress situated atop St. Nicholas Hill, followed by visits to the Spanish Fortress of Pakleni and Vis Islands. Subsequent to these points, the journey proceeds through the verdant island of Hvar, traversing Brusje where visitors can explore the Lavender Fields (with seasonal availability in June).
Arriving at the Port of Stari Grad, characterized by paved ancient roads offering panoramic vistas, the group progresses towards the historic Town of Stari Grad, formerly known as Pharia and Pharos, serving as the island’s administrative center. Proceeding via the stone-paved Riva, the itinerary includes a visit to the fortified “Tvrdalj,” originally owned by poet Petar Hektorović, renowned for his epic poem titled "Fishing and Talk with Fishermen." Known for dedicating his entire life to this site, Hektorović retains ownership of the original fish pond, which he frequently referred to as his 'home.'
Following the aforementioned stops, the tour delves into the UNESCO-protected regions comprising vineyards and olive groves. Next, the travelers reach the charming town of Vrbovska, also known as "Little Venice," owing to its numerous stone bridges spanning its narrow, winding canals and the stunning St. Mary of Mercy fortress—church.
