Upon arrival, we proceed to Piedras Rojas, a remarkable location nestled amidst the vastness of the desert. This site is distinguished by its turquoise lagoon formed from the volcanic rocks, giving rise to its distinctive hue. Following this introduction, we embark on a culinary journey aboard our Safari Bus, indulging in a sumptuous buffet breakfast featuring coffee, pancakes, delicacies, and scrambled eggs. As we traverse through the landscape, we marvel at the serene beauty of the Tuyacto lagoon.

Next, we venture towards the Altiplanic lagoons, a pristine haven untouched by human hands. These lagoons are collectively known as Miscanti and Miniques, integral parts of the National Flamingo Reserve. Amongst these, Miscanti particularly stands out due to its extensive dimensions and intriguing views of the surrounding terrain. Located approximately 117 kilometers southeast of San Pedro de Atacama and situated at an elevation of around 4,300 meters above sea level, this region offers breathtaking vistas and a tranquil escape from the urban hustle.

As we near our final destination, we arrive at the Tropic of Capricorn, a symbolic line marking the boundary between the tropics and temperate zones. This geographical landmark provides visitors with an opportunity to witness a unique perspective of the world's latitudinal division.
