Truffle Hunting in Chianti with Pasta CookingClass and Lunch

A one-hour truffle hunt conducted within the domain of the property followed by a culinary demonstration involving the preparation of fresh pasta. Post-dinner, an exquisite meal was served under the serene gaze of the olive groves from a terrace positioned at the foot of the hill.

The pursuit of truffles within our property situated in the heart of Chianti Classico, adjacent to Greve in Chianti and approximately 20 minutes from Florence, offers an unparalleled experience that one should not miss while in our region. This excursion commences at 10:30 AM during spring months; however, for optimal conditions, it's advisable to begin early in summer. Accompanied by a seasoned truffle hunter, accompanied by their trusted Lagotto Romagnolo dog renowned for its keen sense of smell, we venture deep into the property's wooded areas in search of these coveted treasures.

Engaging in direct interaction with nature for approximately an hour, participants engage actively in the hunt for truffles, learning invaluable insights into this centuries-old tradition deeply rooted in Tuscan culture. Afterward, mid-morning sees us return to the farm where we prepare freshly made tagliatelle pasta under expert guidance, each dish meticulously crafted with care and respect for local ingredients.

Dinner is served on the expansive terrace, offering breathtaking views of our vineyards and olive groves. Enjoying our homemade meal prepared exclusively with truffles unearthed during the previous adventure, guests have the opportunity to savor the earthy flavors and aromas typical of truffle-rich cuisine.
