Our semi-private lesson format offers an ideal setting for two individuals aged 13 or above who possess proficiency in swimming. This arrangement facilitates a personalized learning environment where each participant receives dedicated attention from our experienced instructors.

The Surf School Bus offers a seamless journey from your accommodation in Waikiki to the beach and beyond, ensuring a smooth transition between destinations. Complimentary courtesy shuttles are available upon arrival at various hotel pick-up points. Our expert staff meets you promptly, introducing themselves and escorting you to an easily identifiable, spacious, and well-maintained white shuttle equipped with our distinctive logo. This vehicle transports you to the Ohana Surf Center located within the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa. Alternatively, you may opt to meet us at the Ohana Surf Center, which serves as a convenient walking distance from numerous Waikiki hotels.

Upon reaching the center, participants receive essential gear including reef shoes and rash guards, followed by a comprehensive safety briefing. Following this, they proceed to their designated surf spot where an experienced instructor guides them through their first lesson. Throughout the session, instructors provide personalized feedback and address any concerns related to previous experiences, swimming abilities, or specific requirements.

Following the lesson, participants are invited to rest under our shaded tent or engage in conversation with the instructors before heading towards the beach. Upon arriving at the shore, they are accompanied to their high-quality lesson boards, which are then transported to the designated location for a memorable experience.

After completing the session, guests are escorted back to the Ohana Surf Center. Here, they can admire their achievements, view footage captured during the day, watch films featuring our talented team members, or purchase souvenirs. Subsequently, they are driven back to their initial pickup point or walked to their departure location.
