Uyuni, Uyuni Salt Flats and Red Lagoon 3-Day Tour

A 3-day guided excursion to the renowned Uyuni Salt Flat and its captivating colored lagoons, commencing and concluding in Uyuni, featuring comprehensive lodging arrangements and culinary experiences.

We commence our journey today, picking you up at your accommodation in Uyuni to embark on an exhilarating four-wheel drive excursion for six individuals. Our itinerary encompasses a comprehensive exploration of the region over the course of three days. We depart towards the renowned Uyuni Salt Flats, traversing the picturesque Train Cemetery and the charming town of Colchani along the way. Upon arrival, we engage in the acquisition of local handicrafts.

Following this, we proceed to the expansive Salt Museum, followed by a voyage to the Incahuasi Island, a prominent limestone formation situated amidst the vast expanse of the salt flats. Here, we undertake a leisurely stroll along a designated path, observing the imposing cacti while enjoying panoramic views of the salt flats from atop a hilltop viewpoint. The evening concludes with the breathtaking spectacle of the sun setting within the confines of the salt flats.

On Day 2, we continue our expedition by departing from Colcha K and traveling via the road that leads to the Chiguana Salt Flat. This segment of our journey will encompass visits to the Cañapa, Hedionda, Honda, and Chiarkota lagoons. Subsequently, we transition into the Siloli Desert, culminating our day in the Colorada Lagoon, home to a congregation of over 30,000 flamingos. For the remainder of the afternoon, we will rest at the Refugio Huayllajara.

In contrast, Day 3 commences with our ascent to the Sunrise Geyser, known for its unique phenomenon of intermittent water flow reaching temperatures exceeding 90°C. Here, we have the opportunity to capture striking images against the backdrop of the first light and the accompanying steam. Following this, we visit the Polques Hot Springs, allowing ample time for relaxation based on the schedule of the tour. We also explore the Salvador Dalí Desert and the Verde and Blanca Lagoons, situated in the vicinity of the Licancabur Volcano.

As the final leg of our trip, we traverse the Valle de Rocas and San Cristóbal en route back to Uyuni. Upon concluding our journey, we conclude the tour.
