The tour starts at Museo de las Telecomunicaciones, where you will spend an hour learning about the architecture of the city, and the history and role of communications in our daily lives.

Then, we will walk to one of the last remaining fortifications from the old town, dating back to 1745, while explaining the first colonization when the Spaniards conquered the land.

We will have a stop for coffee if needed, and continue to the riverfront, where we will show you antique photographs that help us understand the way of life in the XIXth century, with the arrival of the German colonizers.

Finally, we will take a taxi boat to cross the river, and finish at Museo Antropológico, where you will be able to see Mapuche artifacts and historical pieces.

We will give you recommendations for lunch in Isla Teja, and the you can continue in the afternoon to visit Jardín Botánico and Parque Saval.
