PDC CARTIZZE

The process of tasting, pairing, and producing high-quality Cartizze wine involves several key steps. First, one should carefully observe the appearance and aroma of the wine to assess its characteristics. Next, appropriate pairing options can enhance the overall experience by complementing various food types. Finally, mastering the art of winemaking ensures consistent production of superior quality Cartizze wines for consumption.

Starting from our tasting room, we begin this delightful sensory journey by providing an overview of the Prosecco region. We delve into the details of its Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita (DOCG) status, highlighting the unique methods employed during its production and the exceptional qualities associated with the exclusive area of Cartizze.

Our tasting session then progresses with a comprehensive sensory analysis of our four premium Prosecco DOCG Valdobbiadene Superiore di Cartizze sparkling wines. Specifically, we offer the following options:

- Valdobbiadene Superiore di Cartizze Brut (5 grams per liter): A crisp and refreshing choice.
- Valdobbiadene Superiore di Cartizze Dry (20 grams per liter): A more robust option, offering a fuller flavor profile.
- Valdobbiadene Superiore di Cartizze Extra Brut Bio (2 grams per liter): An exceptionally dry wine with a subtle sweetness.
- Valdobbiadene Superiore di Cartizze Extra Dry Bio (13 grams per liter): A medium-dry wine ideal for those seeking a balance between fruitiness and acidity.

Following the tasting, we invite guests to enjoy a selection of light appetizers designed to complement these fine wines. These include:
- Salty Breadsticks
- Two varieties of cheese: Grana Padano PDO and Piave PDO
- A sweet local cake

Next, we transition to our production facility, where expert guides will share insights into our winemaking processes, conducted primarily in both concrete and stainless steel tanks. This segment concludes with a guided tour of our vineyards, accompanied by discussions on our century-old vines and the application of organic farming practices.

Finally, we end our excursion at our panoramic viewpoint, where visitors have the opportunity to capture breathtaking photographs of the Prosecco hills, which have been designated as UNESCO World Heritage Sites today.
