Warsaw, Tour to Krakow and Auschwitz by Train with Pickup

Upon departure from your accommodation in Warsaw, a private vehicle transfers you to the designated train station. An English-speaking driver assists with the check-in process and waits until boarding the train to Krakow.

Following the train ride, you are met by a local English-speaking driver who guides you through a 3.5-hour guided group tour of Auschwitz and Birkenau. Commence the tour with a visit to the Auschwitz concentration camp, where you will learn about its establishment by Nazi Germany in 1940. The site has been transformed into a museum, showcasing evidence of the Holocaust. A post-war film documenting the events is also available in multiple languages.

Proceed to the Birkenau section of the camp, located just south of Auschwitz I. Here, between 1942 and 1945, approximately 1.5 million individuals resided and perished. Of these, over 90% were Jewish; other groups included Poles, Gypsies, Russians, and citizens from 28 European nations. The site was inscribed on the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage List in 1979.
