Taranto, Italy
An immersive wine tasting excursion through the vineyards of Puglia, followed by a luxurious gastronomic experience at a historic flour mill dating back to the 18th century, offering a unique opportunity to explore the region's traditional culinary delights.
During the reception of guests, a welcome aperitif featuring a Negroamaro rosé IGP Salento, paired with homemade frisellini and our Jarche extra virgin olive oil, will commence. A guided tour through the cellar will follow, leading participants to explore the ancient barrica for tastings of both primitive and aged wines. These wines will be compared side-by-side, their characteristics analyzed alongside a selection of locally produced pecorino cheese.
Following this educational segment, there will be an opportunity to taste our primitive of Manduria DOCG Natural Dolce, served with hard pieces, a traditional Apulian sweet dish enriched with almonds. This experience concludes with a special dinner held within the cellar environment, complemented by a meal prepared according to the chef's usual seasonal menu, but excluding any additional wines.
The evening culminates in a visit to a semi-hypogeum oil mill where diners can enjoy a unique culinary experience, incorporating elements reminiscent of the local Apulian cuisine.
