We shall commence our journey on Day 1 at 9:15 am, picking you up from your accommodation in Iquitos. Upon arrival at the city port, we will embark upon a picturesque boat ride towards the chosen campsite, which promises an enriching environment teeming with natural beauty.
Upon disembarking, we shall proceed to indulge in a sumptuous buffet lunch, followed by an excursion through the surrounding landscape to explore its vibrant ecosystem. An opportune moment will allow us to encounter the diminutive pygmy marmoset, an emblematic species of primates renowned for its miniature stature.
As evening descends, we shall savour a succulent dinner, concluding our culinary expedition with an unforgettable sunset vista along a serene lagoon.
For Day 2, we shall commence our exploration early with a visit to the Sapote lagoon and the adjacent Moena lagoon. Here, we shall witness an array of avian species, arboreal sloths, and adorably perched little monkeys.
Following the morning's activities, we shall replenish our energy with a hearty meal and subsequently venture into the jungle aboard a vessel to hunt for the formidable alligator. Our afternoon will be dedicated to observing the hoatzin, a distinctive prehistoric creature adorned in striking hues.
