5 Day Kruger Glamping Budget Adventure

This five-night glamping adventure within the boundaries of the Kruger National Park offers an exceptional African experience at an economical price point.

Day 1 - Afternoon Sunset Drive

Upon arrival at Johannesburg's OR Tambo International Airport, guests will be met and promptly transferred to Sekekama Tented Camp. Upon check-in at 14:00, guests will have ample time to rest and explore the various amenities available at the facility. Following this, they will depart at 15:00 for a 3-hour open vehicle afternoon game drive within the Greater Kruger Blue Canyon. This excursion offers opportunities to observe a diverse array of park fauna, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, and antelopes. Guests will return to their campsite by approximately 19:00 for a sumptuous boma fire meal and a serene evening under the starry sky.

Day 2 - Full Day Kruger National Park

Commencing with a picturesque start, guests will rise at 05:30 on Day 2 for an extended safari into Kruger National Park. Depending on the itinerary, participants may choose either an early departure followed by an early return, or opt for a leisurely breakfast at the lodge prior to departure and subsequent return. The duration of the Kruger Park safari spans 7 to 8 hours, ensuring a comprehensive exploration of the vast wilderness.

Guests will relish dinners beneath the stars (accompanied by complimentary glasses of wine), sharing their experiences and forming lasting connections during these memorable evenings. On Day 3, guests embark upon a full-day Panorama Route Tour, traversing an exhilarating route known for its breathtaking vistas, such as Berlin Falls, God's Window, The Pinnacle, 3 Rondawels, and Blyde River Canyon. Participants may also elect to begin the tour after breakfast at the lodge, allowing them to depart and return at a convenient time.

Returning to camp, guests will again partake in a boma fire dinner under the stars, enjoying a complementary glass of wine. On Day 4, they continue their journey into Kruger National Park, waking up at 05:30 for a second full-day safari experience. Options remain flexible; either an early departure with an overnight stay, or a leisurely breakfast at the lodge, followed by a later return.

Kruger Park safaris last 7 to 8 hours, providing ample time to relax before concluding with a final boma fire dinner under the stars. Returning to camp, guests are expected to reach OR Tambo International Airport between 17:00 and 18:00.

Day 5 - 1 Hour Bush Walk

For the final leg of their adventure, guests will undertake an optional 1-hour bush walk, offering the chance to discover previously unseen species of flora and fauna while indulging in a light breakfast at their camp. Following the walk, guests will be driven back to Johannesburg, arriving at OR Tambo International Airport between 17:00 and 18:00.
