Before engaging in a guided Zazen session, enjoy a traditional bento lunch at Zenkyoin Temple. Under the tutelage of Master Yamanad, a French-speaking Japanese monk proficient in Zen Buddhism, learn about the philosophical underpinnings, personal experiences, and insights into Zenkyoin Temple through practical exercises such as maintaining proper postures, rhythmic breathing, Zazen meditation, reciting scriptures aloud, and addressing the master freely during Q&A sessions.

Afterwards, venture forth to Tsurugaoka Hachimangu, one of the most revered Shinto shrines in Japan, once venerated as a guardian deity of the Minamoto clan, progenitors of the Kamakura Shogunate. Next, explore a Kamakura bori shop renowned for its exquisite late carvings and lacquerware craftsmanship. Followed by visiting an incense shop, rejuvenate your senses with aromatic scents. Finally, return to Kamakura Station, ready to partake in the rich cultural tapestry and spiritual practices of this ancient city.
