A visit to James Island offers an opportunity to explore the history of slavery through the lens of a slave museum.
We will transport you from your accommodation to Banjul via ferry, followed by a taxi to James Island for an informative guided tour. Upon returning to the island, we will enjoy lunch before embarking on a brief drive to Juffeher, the birthplace of Kunte Kinteh. There, we shall explore the Slave Museum and return to the ferry for the journey back to Banjul. Finally, we will proceed to your hotel or guesthouse upon arrival.
